Medium sized Fly Fishing Landing Net; Walnut and maple

This landing net was built with a 9.5 x 13.5 inch walnut hoop and a select piece of birds eye maple for the 10 inch handle.  I then added alternating brass and ebony dots at 1 inch intervals, set so the first dot is 14 inches from the top rim of the hoop. Good news, you can now measure your fish.  Bad news,  you will now know you are lying.

This style of landing net may be custom ordered in various woods and a larger hoop which fits a ghost style net bag. My nets are all signed and numbered.  Finished with 6-8 coats of epoxy. All nets have a custom shop made brass eye for attaching the net to your vest or belt.
